I am truly grateful for the opportunity to have joined the writing week in Matera. The combination of inspiring workshops, the beauty of the surroundings, and the supportive atmosphere created a very special experience for me.

The sessions gave me both structure and freedom — I felt encouraged to explore my own voice, but also guided by thoughtful impulses and exercises. Sharing texts within the group was at first a little intimidating, but it quickly became one of the most valuable parts of the week, because of the openness, kindness and respect everyone showed.

Beyond the writing itself, the time in Matera reminded me of how important it is to create space for creativity, reflection, and exchange. I left not only with new words on the page, but also with new ideas, courage, and a sense of connection.
